Stacey

Director & Choreographer

Dance Experience:  

Stacey has over fifteen years experience in cheerleading, dance, and choreography.  She was a member of the Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleading Squad and has choreographed and coached for a number of nationally recognized cheerleading and dance teams.  Her professional dance experience includes appearances in such movies as Austin Powers: Goldmember, Like Mike, 13 Going on 30, and Charlie's Angels II.  Also, she has performed with artists such as Britney Spears, Prince, LL Cool J, and Justin Timberlake.

Karmen

Number of Years with the Sea Dolls:  Fourth Year

Dance Experience:

Karmen began dancing at the age of three with Albemarle Academy of Dance.   She joined competitive dance at the age of four when she performed her first dance solo.  She has traveled all over the United States for many competitions and conventions.  She toured for three years with "I LOVE DANCE" in New York, Florida and California.   Karmen performed guest appearances on the Royal Carribean Cruise Line for two years. She not only still dances but she has taken on her skills and now coaches dance, cheer, and tumbling at Coastal Tumble gym where she is Head Coach of the TNT team for the past four years.

Best Dance Moment/Accomplishment:

Karmen's best dance moment was at age four, and her very first competition, she danced her entire routine backwards and still took home first place and two very proud parents! Her best accomplishment was at age eleven when she held the Student Choreographer of the Year in 1998, in New York City.

Samantha

Number of Years with the Sea Dolls:  Fifth Year

Dance Experience:

Samantha has danced for ten years with Just Dance Studio Competition team.  She performed at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia and has danced with the Wilmington Xtreme Collegiate Team.  Samantha has spent summers in Los Angeles participating in classes at The Millennium Dance Studio and The Edge as well as spent summers in New York at Broadway Dance Theatre.  Also, she danced with the local Wilmington Tigers for one year.

Best Dance Moment/Accomplishment:

Her unique opportunity to performing in the 2000 Olympics in Syndney, Australia.

Ariana

Number of Years with the Sea Dolls:  Third Year

Dance Experience:

Ariana started ballet at the age of three.  She began cheerleading in middle school and continued as well in jazz and tap dancing.  She joined the Hip-Hop dance team in high school and from there became captain after her first year.  Ariana assisted in choreography for three years while dancing in musical theatre.

Best Dance Moment/Accomplishment:

Dancing in a three mile Raleigh Parade and joining the Wilmington Sea Dolls Dance Team

 

Tara

Number of Years with the Sea Dolls:  Second Year

Dance Experience:

Tara started dancing at the age of two.   She performed competitive dancing for eight years through the avenue of jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, acrom, and modern dance.   She began choreographing her own solo's and duets during the last two years of her competitive life.  Tara has traveled around the country competing in many cities and dance conventions.

Best Dance Moment/Accomplishment: 

The opportunity to work with all of the various teachers and choreographers as well as the numerous awards I have won throughout my competitive years.

Anna

Number of Years with the Sea Dolls: First Year

Anna started her first dance class at age seven. She has danced competitively for 11 years, working with Factorie-Professional Company, and was dance team captain at E.A. Laney High School. While pursuing her college studies, Anna is working as a substitute dance teacher.

Best Dance Moment/Accomplishment:

Winning first place overall for my senior solo performance.

Becca

Number of Years with the Sea Dolls: First Year
